Or everyone had 2 mushrooms to start with and some have been eaten.

The picture looks similar to the atta flour I can buy here only a bit darker so yes, maybe they toast it first.

@shainI want that pita. That's the best looking pita I have ever seen.

@Tropicalsenior If you have Thomas Keller's ad hoc at home cookbook the blue cheese dressing on page 182 is killer good. I found it here (scroll down, it is at the bottom): https://www.wnyc.org/story/70613-thomas-kellers-ad-hoc-recipe-for-iceburg-lettuce-slices/. His Aioli is a basic mayonnaise using garlic oil from confited garlic.

Presuming the items with a pink dot are gone? i have been on a tear and the pre-prepared food items from my freezers are mostly eaten. A few packs of chili and spanakopita are left. Trying not to re-accumulate.’

One of our friends checking out my new Giga5 Jura coffee machine remarked ‘probably cost more than my Vespa’! Which is correct seeing his Vespa was used when he bought it and the Jura was $5000. -

Great idea @gfweb! I really need to try this. I like the pretoasting of the bread crumbs too. i do love my air fryer. I bought a cheapie on Amazon for $100 Cdn...basically a no name because I was not sure I needed an air fryer but was willing to spend that much money. It’s a Bestek. FYI @Shelby

I have had good service from Modernist Pantry. Even up here in the Great White North....not cheap.

Despite its monotone colour I find it very appealing, accompanied by a nice glass of Bordeaux!

Kinda takes the charm away.

I would think a new topic as you describe but don’t think you need to date it. The date will appear in the entry.

Love wheat berries! Especially good with mushrooms.

Good to know, thanks

A bit of oak in wine white or red also, when used appropriately enhances the wine without one saying ‘oh, there’s oak in here’. I think most of the heavily oaked white chards are a thing of the past.

Welcome. Fill us in on what you like to cook especially your BBQ. What equipment do you use?

Nice. my fryer only gets to 392f but I will give it a try.

I will make a test patty checking the salt. We make our own bacon so I think we should be ok.
