The dicing kit comes with a 12mm dicing blade. The add-on kit gives you two additional dicing blades, a 16mm one and an 8mm one and a cleaning cap. Note that a cleaning cap also comes with the original kit.

The other option would be slow cooker roasting bags. Then there would be nothing to clean up.

My SIL's husband is in the final throes of cancer and is bedridden. She has Parkinson's and has some trouble getting around. My husband went to help them out for a few days before this topic came up but it is such a wonderful idea I'm going to do this for her next time he/we go there. For this trip he had made a couple of meat loaves which I sliced and vacuum packed in serving size portions and put together a complete kit for Thai basil chicken which he cooked up for one of their dinners. I also sent along 3 different kinds of cookies. But this - crockpot dump meals is pure genius. @MaryIsobel thanks for starting this topic. I would never have thought of it on my own.

I ordered the dicer kit. Should arrive tomorrow.

My reading of it is they were talking about the original circulator, the one that's coming up on it's 10th birthday.

H I used the ice cream mode. I emptied another pint the other day and it too, was gouged.

Looking into this a bit more, I see I also need to buy the expansion kit as well as the dicing kit. I cannot find this on the Breville site. I have called customer support to ask them about this. Will post what they say in case someone else is interested.

The Paradice sells in Canada for $900 (plus 13% tax) and I doubt I'd get much for my sous chef. Cheaper to get the dicer kit @ $220.

I use the Anova all the time and rarely use my big oven. The Cuisinart Steam Oven, referred to as the CSO is also a great little oven, but I don't think it's sold anymore in the US though it's still available in Canada.

Interestingly, the Breville dicing kit costs the same as a Cuisinart food processor that comes with the dicing kit. The processors aren't really compatible, but still....

I'm embarrassed to have questioned what an APO is, seeing as how i have one.
-
I couldn't find it on their web site. I'll look again. Edited to add: looked again and found it. Amazon sells it as well. Thank you!

APO??

I wish they made the dicing kit as an attachment for the Sous Chef 16. Edited to add: They do and I just bought it.

Are The Sweetest blueberries only?

@Shelby What do you do to the corn before vacuum sealing them?
-
@Shelby. Wow, I'm impressed!

I didn't know this app existed. I downloaded it, but where I live there is not much choice. Mostly dominated by 1 grocery chain and a donut chain. There are a couple though, that might be of interest. Thanks for posting about this.

What a wonderful idea. Kudos to you!

When I met my husband, spicy food meant putting black pepper on something. I now make him spicy red pepper sauce made with Scotch Bonnet peppers. -

I'm with @blue_dolphinon this. I had the same thing happen to me. Before I found out it was out-of-warranty, they offered to send me the new 500 series Creami along with a couple of pints. Here is a picture of mine. Please let us know what happens.
