I like roasted asparagus with a balsamic vinegar drizzled on top to go with rich, creamy sauces.

It's so funny that you bring this up. I had a box stuck up in the cabinet and since I was by myself for dinner last night, I thought I'd give it a go. I hadn't had it since 1993 or before. OMG I don't know how I ingested it back then. It didn't even taste cheesy. Now I have a whole tupperware container of leftover in my fridge.

I've never been over there so I can't offer anything except for that I hope you guys have a great time and be safe! I hope you'll be doing a blog here about your trip.

I have two dents in mine already and I have NO idea how it happened. That being said, I still like how stainless looks. There are only two of us here, so I really don't notice a ton of fingerprints. I have a polish that you rub on with a paper towel that really shines everything up, but I only do that if I have to have a dinner here.

Your kitchen is going to be great! I can't wait to see the finished product. Your stools look a heck-of-a-lot more comfy than mine do. I have a love/hate relationship with ours. They are uncomfortable, BUT they fit under the island in the middle of the kitchen so perfectly and I love that they can be out of the way like that. Can't wait to see dinner! We didn't have to go to a family dinner today (yay!) so we're doing a mini Easter dinner. -

I've used those before. I think they're pretty good. Not as good as the long, skinny ones, IMO. They are a bit more....pulpy??? I sliced and salted mine and let them sit for a while to get some of the moisture out. -

I got this book in the mail yesterday and I can't put it down. It's really, really good. Many references (so far) to all of the food in the cookbook. -

Those soup croutons are the first thing that caught my eye on the table. They look like nekkid spaghetti o's. I'm dying to try them. Must google and order some. I wonder how they shape them so small and round like that? -
Sure doesn't look boring to me! I love morels. I can't wait until they start growing here *drooling*.

That brisket looks SO good. I want to make that today, but I only have venison roasts *sigh*. I'm adding brisket to my shopping list! I have been reading online about the traditions of Seder night. Did you hide the Afikoman? I likened that to putting a bean in a king cake during Mardi Gras. I definitely like the part about having to drink four glasses of wine. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures and learning more. -

LOVE the cat staring longingly at the contents--I'm assuming the open tuna! Or....wait.....your cat looks remarkably like mine A.K.A. Dr. Hannibal Lector. I'm away from my house at the moment, did the good doctor jump ship and run away to your house? -
OMG another burger that is making me DROOL. I'm so ready for a new invention that let's us reach out and take a bite through the screen! I did that pizza on a stone in the oven that had been pre-heated to 500 degrees for about an hour. It usually takes around 12 to 17 minutes for the pizza to be done to our likeness. I put the egg on with about 3 minutes to go. It was almost better than sex...almost...
