This picture at the link will show you how mine was delivered--it came on a pallet. It was shipped on a huge semi truck that I met out on the main road because he couldn't get down my road and turn around.

I bought this stand to keep mine on in the kitchen. It's handy because it's on rollers--makes it super easy to change the oil.

I have tried burrata cheese a couple of times and found it....lacking. Bland and rubbery... Ordered some from Murray's Cheese. Waaaaay better. Dang you Murray's, another item I will have trouble living without. Drizzled with good balsamic . With steaks on the grill, sprouts and late garden corn Catfish and fried green tomatoes Found some excellent peanut dressing so I made a cabbage/ramen/peanut salad Grilled brats and jalapeños to go with

Dropping in to say harvest started today. Latest ever due to flooding. Both field corn and soybeans being done right now. Need a good harvest.......need a good price to sell. Won't get political but hoping for the best.

I'm going to be having appointments in the big city fairly often at the periodontist --my teeth are great....some of my gums, not so great. However, the up side (can there be an up side lol)is that I'm in a part of town that I don't get to very often. As a reward to myself for doing all of this horrid stuff, I am stopping at different places (Whole Foods was last week). Anyway, a Trader Joe's just opened a couple of weeks ago and I'm planning on going Wednesday (if I don't feel too crappy after the appointment, that is). I'm excited. I signed up to get their flyer by email so I will peruse that and see if there are things we might want to try.

Ordered some more of my favorite Harbison cheese. I left it out for two days, but our house is so cold (haven't turned the furnace on yet--enjoying the crispness) that it didn't get as melty as I like You can always tell when I've been to the big city grocery store--you can't get me out of the olive bar and cheese section Pepperoni pizza and salad Had some Cotswold and Balsamic Bellavitano--both good. Crab alfredo Store bought brownies with homemade vanilla ice cream
