@blue_dolphinWhat herb did you use to round out the Herbdacious? I know I can get dill, mint and cilantro but I don't think I can find chervil.

@blue_dolphinThat looks absolutely scrumptious. I need to make the herb thing. I'm trying so hard not to go to the store, but since we're doing turkey day for the two of us, I need to sit down and see if there is anything I really need... SO glad you got all your things repaired. I know that's a load off of your mind!!

Saturday was pizza night Ronnie went pheasant hunting so yesterday was pheasant pot pie with mashed potatoes and stewed tomatoes

Thanks!! Imperfect is available to me. Oddly they only deliver to me on Saturdays.... It is more expensive, but I do like that they will ship meats and seafood. I think I'll wait until I get the box from Misfits and then I'll try Imperfect...or maybe I'll just throw caution to the wind and try it now.

@HungryChris'mushrooms are just the best. I have some in the fridge.....haven't delved into them for a while. I hope they are still good. I miss him.

Also, your fridge both at home and in the PM are amazingly clean and organized. Mine is shameful in comparison lol.

In this strange pandemic time, I don't think you can do any overkill. I know I always sound like the voice of doom about this, but I read a lot...every day...and it's smart to be prepared.

Are you kidding me? Even with no pandemic we're always glued to your travels! I've been re-reading the hunting blog.....I'll have to make a note next year (hopefully) as to why 2020 is missing (not that we won't remember). edited to say that every time you post about armadillo eggs I make a mental note that I want to make these and then I forget lol.

Anna, I hope the kraut isn't going bad! This morning's breakfast: Angel hair tossed with a bit of butter, a bit of pasta water, furki and lime juice. I ended up putting even more furki on it. Good stuff. BTW my cats go absolutely nuts when I open the furki up. Newman kept trying to drag pasta out of my bowl and eat it.

I guess I always just use my food processor in place of a blender...I have a stick blender that I use for making mayo.....

Sheesh, that lettuce is a bit pricey lol. I need some heavy cream so last time at the store I went to get some. Almost $10. It didn't land in my cart.

Oh @SmithyI hate that you're having problems. You know, all these years traveling with you and it never crossed my mind about having to go to a laundry mat. The princess mobile needs to buck up and realize it's a pandemic and she can't break down!

I think clementines would work great. IMO, the more juice the better! I ordered some half gallon mason jars from Amazon, but they didn't get here until yesterday (shipping ain't what it used to be). So, I used some random old jar I had downstairs. If you slice your fruit differently than Vivian does, I think you can fit it in a quart wide mouth jar (maybe not the whole recipe though). I need to go out and visit my batch. It's in the garage fridge. A couple days ago it looked good.

I'm so excited for this that I can't hardly think straight lol. I've looked all over the internet for ever trying to find someone that would deliver fruits/veggies like this. I'd even take CSA where you don't get a choice. Where I live I can't even get grocery store delivery so this is a great find (especially NOW). Thank you Kay!!! Edited to say: I forgot to say what I had originally came here to say. The store had turkeys today. I had to go get Ronnie's meds so I shopped too. Limit of 2 and you had to spend $25 to get them. Easy for me to do lol.

You can pick the items from the choices they give you. They have a lot of choices (right now anyway). It looks really easy to skip delivery or even cancel.

OMG this is like Christmas I signed up! My first delivery will be the 20th of this month. 4 days beforehand I log in to pick what I want in my box. How fun!

This is awesome! I just put in my zip code and it says they will ship to me I'm off to peruse.

Same on the sad note--I remember getting DRR after the garden was done...BUT there is always next summer This new book will definitely up my herb planting next year.
