i didn't know it was there. i'll check it out though. I'm partial to La Strada Deli in Midland Park on Godwin Avenue. Decent Italian sub. The roasted pepper, sausage, and mozzarella stromboli roll is awesome. I usually go with the Breaded chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, and roasted pepper hero. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Best Way to Cook Bacon: Soft/Crisp? Fry/Bake/Microwave?

Once when we were out of bacon my father burnt a slice of provolone cheese. It tasted just like bacon. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com -
Rosie, you are being too kind saying the place used to be a pavilion. Say it like it is. It used to be a McDonalds!!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

I really like Chengdu 46 on Route 46 in Clifton. It's not too far from Garden State Parkway exit 154. The Chengdu Beef ($18.00) is excellent. Probably one of the best beef dishes I have had in a Chinese restaurant. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

I think Vic's is good, but I think Carmen's (a.k.a. Pete and Elda's) which is in the same geographical area is ten times better. Hands down the best thin crust pizza in the State of New Jersey. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

What was the name of the place that was across the street from Evelyn's (also gone) on Main Street in Belmar?? It started with a "Z". Was it Zeboles?? I am racking my brain trying to remember the name. Can anyone help????? I loved going there for Steamers!! The fries and clam strips were another favorite!!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

My wife enjoys it. She always brings her vegetarian friends when they come to visit. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Someone mentioned it before, Mumfords on the Monmouth Beach/Long Branch border. Great place. I miss the Chowder Pot. They had various locations throughout the state. The best "All-You-Can-Eat" shrimp and salad bar. I would eat shrimp for hours and hours. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Everyone should receive their food at the same time and there shouldn't be any plates cleared from the table until everyone has finished eating. You shouldn't have to deal with being served first. A good restaurant should know how to accurately time their meal preparation. If one meal is done before the others then you should hold that meal in the back until the other meals are completed. Is this place open?? It seems like they have been doing renovations for the last 20 years. You would think they were restoring the Sistine Chapel. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

I feel Cluck U is the best locale for Wings in New Jersey. Their chicken sandwiches are also very good. Both can be extremely messy. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

No, my spelling wasn't that bad. Mazi is a totally different place. What I thought was Citron's turned out to be Citrico's, an Italian/Mediterranean Grill, by Piancone's on Main Street. I had a chance to dine there this past weekend. Although I haven't come up with a final review I would have to say the dining experience was a positive one. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

The Old Mill Inn's version of an outdoor wedding features a 20ft. wide swath of goose dropping covered grass between the restaurant's busy parking lot and the often scum covered lake. Yes, it is reasonably priced but you definitely get what you pay for. The other place I believe mentioned is Mike Doolan's on Route 71 Spring Lake Heights. Not the greatest place but a little better than the Old Mill Inn for weddings. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Yes it is the one in the Palisades Mall. It is quite classy by arcade standards, but yes it is a distance from Parsippany. I wouldn't suggest sinking to the Chuckie Cheese level, but maybe there is another fun activity out there that could pass as a rehersal dinner. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

When selecting a place for my rehersal dinner I decided to make the evening casual and fun as opposed to a formal dining experience. I knew we were in for a formal setting and outstanding meal the next night at the wedding so I tried to keep the rehersal dinner laid back. I think it helped prepare our nerves for the all the stress and anxiety that comes with the wedding day. I went with Dave and Busters right across the border in Rockland County, NY. It is a restaurant and arcade that caters to adults. They offered reasonable dinner packages and everyone received game cards to play games all night. Everyone said it was the best rehersal dinner they attended. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

FaNagle the Bagel in Long Branch had the biggest bagels and the largest globs of cream cheese I have ever seen. Does anyone know if this place is still around?? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Bagels International on Main Street in Bradley Beach. Excellent bagels but I sometimes find it hard battling the incompetent staff and the throngs of customers streaming through the door. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

How annoying is it when you have a server change smack dab in the middle of your meal? If there is the remote possibility that you may not be able to serve a table throughout their entire meal then you shouldn't take the table. I guess the only remedy is not to dine at a restaurant during a shift change (late lunch/early dinner/late dinner), but I shouldn't have to worry about this. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

There is a new Japanese place on Franklin Ave. in Ridgewood. Its next to the car dealer. I have passed it a couple of times. I can't recall the name right now. Has anyone tried it??? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

There's a Windmill in West Long Branch? Where is it? West Long Branch does not have a Windmill. There is a Windmill (actually the original Windmill) in the West End section of Long Branch. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Krispy Kreme is a good donut, but I don't think they are as good as the hype would lead you to believe. They are similiar to Dunkin Donuts with just a lot more glaze. The donuts from the actual Krispy Kreme store are much better than the ones you find in the gas station mini marts. I frequent them when I am down south. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com

Tiffany Diner is good, but I like Matthew's Diner in Waldwick a little more. Allendale Bar and Grill is definitely hit or miss. In Ridgewood I recommend Marra's or Marcello's. The Pancake House on East Ridgewood Avenue is very popular. The pancakes are grossly oversized though. I do like the complimentary chocolate chip corn muffins they provide. Blue Moon Mexican Cafe is decent for Mexican food. They have various locations in the area, but I go to the Wyckoff location. For pizza I like Nellie's Place in Waldwick, but Kinchley's has a good pie. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
