  1. It's not too new. It has been there for about a year and a half. It's not bad.
  2. I can't believe the Hasbrouck Heights Exxon got a conditional. I tried to get a reservation there for Valentine's Day but they were already booked. Now I am glad I couldn't get in. Went to the Lodi Sunoco instead. Had a great Truck Stop Cheeseburger that was microwaved perfectly. The side of Wise Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips was sublime. Washed it down with a 20oz. Diet Pepsi from a supreme soft drink distributor in the Hudson Valley region of New York. I would highly recommend this place. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  3. The AB&G does have a good burger but their Cheddar Ale Burger is disgusting. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  4. How about Nellie's place in Waldwick?? I do like Kinchley's but Nellies is the best thin crust in North Jersey!!! Notice I said North Jersey. The best thin crust in New Jersey is Carmen's a.k.a. Pete and Elda's in Neptune City, followed by Maria's in Manasquan. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  5. I hate when you pay with cash and the waitress/waiter asks if you want change. "Don't worry if I want change or not, just bring the money back and collect your god damn tip after I leave" The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  6. We were just interested in sampling one of the appetizing pasta dishes, without ordering it as our main meal. We didn't really want to spend $5 each to sample a couple of mouthfuls of pasta. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  7. yup. chinese take-out place. not notable, from my experience, but one of about 50 in town. i lie. it's the "upscale" place. one of those places with a fish tank. i never quite understood that as the fish in these things never look very tasty. but still, one of about 50 generic places overall. i think the best chinese place is the new "asian fusion" place. i think is called "asia something or another". not too shabby. Tommy, are you talking about Asian Grill on Prospect??? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  8. Well, I went to Andrea's. It was pretty good. I was really happy with the service. I had one of the many specials they had this evening, Veal Bracciole. It was served with a side of Gnocci. It was very tasty but it was smothered in entirely too much sauce. The only thing that really turned me off was when we requested one of the pasta entree's as an appetizer. For 6 of us the waiter split 2 entree dishes and charged us 14.95 for each. $30.00 for a pasta appetizer is a little much for a restaurant of this caliber. They could of been a little more reasonable. Otherwise, we had a pretty enjoyable evening. I would probably return for a 2nd visit... The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  9. I had dinner last night at Il Vilino in Waldwick. I wasn't too impressed. Good service, but the food wasn't up to par. Tonight, I am eating at Andrea's Ristorante East Prospect St. Waldwick. Any opinions on this place?? The guy at the liquor store in the same strip of stores said it is one of the best in the country. I find that hard to believe so I am reaching out to you folks for feedback... The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  10. Do the owners of Moonstruck still own this place?? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  11. first of all, Pete did not say "terrorist attacks" he said "terrorist bombings." i know pete through a friend and i saw him do his terroism set to a new york audience and it killed. he was making fun of terrorists - what's wrong with that? (btw his set up for the joke was completely edited) And if you were eluding to Pete not being sensitive to people who endured 9-11, i know for a fact that he was there and saw things with his own eyes. if you heard Pete's jokes about mideast turmoil (i.e. when more than one terrorist organization claims responsibility for the same bombing...how lazy are these terroists) i'd think you'd laugh and heaven would not have to help us all. Pete is a goof ball. Those corny jokes would have bombed at a Taliban Talent Show. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  12. I wonder if some of the customers are just complaining to get on tv or to just meet Rocco when he comes over to apologize?? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  13. The show really SUCKS!!!!!!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  14. I just went to Christina's Cafe in Wyckoff. Sandwich was ok, a little burnt though. There was a good crowd in the place. Has anyone tried it? It is in the Boulder Run Shopping Center, a couple of doors down from the Blue Moon Cafe. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  15. Where in NJ can I find a good Panini sandwich?? I have had an unbelievable craving for pressed sandwiches recently. I hope I'm not pregnant!! Recommendations?? The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  16. I think you should cherish every buffet experience you have. It is all about getting your eat on: Buffet Tips The Man, The Myth
  17. The revitalization has started. Take a ride up Cookman Ave. They have some big renovation and new construction projects going on and there are more and more popular restaurants coming to town. Moonstruck is one of the most popular restaurants in the state right now. There is a new Portuguese place on Main Street that is always packed. Give it 2 years and Asbury Park will be one of the top spots on the shore. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  18. 3 Brothers Pizza of Italy on Ocean Avenue in Belmar. Hands down the best beachfront pizza around!! Also Max's Hot Dogs and Windmill in Long Branch. They aren't on the boardwalk, but they are close enough. Both great places!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  19. I see how having to see "Moving Out" could be a problem. I hoped you enjoyed it, because I hated it and so did most of the people sitting around me. I don't know how anyone could stomach a meal after seeing that show. Have fun!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  20. I have not dined there, but here's a couple of Tony Di Napoli reviews I have received: http://www.tapitorscrapit.com/NYReviews.ht...sDiNapoliAnchor The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  21. I used to love going to this place as a kid. The day before Thanksgiving was insane. I have never seen a store so packed. I used to love the doughnuts and hot apple cider they used to give out that day. I think my mom usually has to order her Thanksgiving pies a couple of months in advance. 22. Fried Oreo's are the best!!! The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  23. Just off Elmora, I believe it is shortly before the train tressel there is a small Portuguese barbecue place. Excellent barbecued chicken, rice and fresh cut fries. Large portions at a very low price. Outstanding to-go place. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  24. Kelly's Tavern - Hwy 35 Neptune City, NJ Extremely popular place on St. Patrick's Day. Excellent Corned Beef dinners and lots of entertainment. Due to the massive crowds the food will be served on plastic dinnerware, menu will be limited and finding a seat will be next to impossible, but it definitely is one of the wildest parties in New Jersey on St. Pat's Day. If you live in the area I definitely suggest you give it a try. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
  25. I agree, the two young chefs in training they featured were annoying. They had no zest for cooking. They just moped around the kitchen all day. I also didn't understand why Mario graded the Sweet Bread dish the way he did. He gave the dish a C+, but he described the food as raw and inedible. Shouldn't a raw and inedible dish have received an F. The Man, The Myth TapItorScrapIt.com
