I keep mine in the freezer all together in the original wrapper in a large plastic container. Some rices went rancid faster than others when I kept them in the pantry, so now they all go in the freezer.

I change the channel when the Neely's appear, can't stand the show. If this is the direction Food Network is going, they will lose viewers left and right.

This is going to be an interesting blog this week. Maybe I will glean enough information on how to clean my pantry out....instead of constantly adding to it. What type of items do you normally purchase at King Arthur? When I go home to visit my family, we usually make a quick trip, less than 30 miles, so I can stock up and not have shipping charges. I love that place! -

Always short sleeves, when cooking. -
Lucy, thanks for taking the time to dazzle us with the amazing blog during such a busy time of year; it was most enjoyable. I loved all the photos of your adorable pets, wine, Thanksgiving meal, amazing farmers market and grocery. I wish there was something even close to that in my area. Thank you, again for sharing!

Oh, please do, continue your blog. -
I have a Magic Mill, over 20 years and use it when making more than 2 loaves of bread, which is often. It is a workhorse, if ever there was one! If only doing 2 loaves I use the KA stand mixer.

I tried Jen's vanilla chicken..........such an unlikely combination, vanilla and garlic, but it was wonderful. Thanks Jen, it is a keeper!

What a fantastic blog! -
I use equal parts flour and vegetable oil (which is kept in the refrigerator, so that it doesn't have to be mixed each time I need it) and then brush it onto my Nordicware Bundt pan and have never had anything stick to it.
