Lately it seems the editing reveals who will go....I knew it was Lia but was hoping it was going to be Caseys cough syrup over dried chicken and mushy rice. And Sara has no confidence in her food. Why is she even there? The other Sara(not the guac girl) made her own cheese. I'm surised she wasn't one of the finalists as people were raving about her dish I would have liked to have seen Hung go home only because his arrogance was annoying. Plus he said, "if I can't cook rice I might as well go home right now." and then his rice was dry. Also running around the kitchen with a knife and a cleaver bothered me. Joey is right-Howie needs to step away from the pork and do something else. I'm glad those two seem to have buried the hatchet. Although I'm sure the editors will find more controversy somewhere Tre has fallen to the middle. I'm a little disappointed. So far only female cheftestants have been eliminated. I was hoping there would finally be a female Top Chef but it doesn't look like it's going to happen as I feel the remaining women don't seem strong enough.

Are they replacing a current Iron Chef?

Wild veal?

That one really grills my cheese! And when they mispronounce items on the menu. Although it can be funny as I was once informed the special of the day was really awesome "nooky". I was so disappointed when I got gnocchi

From MSNBC.com Gunman bursts into party, tastes cheese and wine, gets hug, then leaves I wonder if the great food changed the robbers mind?

Was there pineapple in the panecotta(or whatever it ended up being) or was there just a pineapple topping? The judges said it just tasted like cream.

I was just coming here to post that website. They didn't say much about what they were eating. Except the guy who said you could get the beef plate at Denny's. At least that's how it was edited. I wonder if they got more bling for being on the show?

Bartenders are now called "mixologists"? OK..... I never order mixed drinks with a meal. I drink wine. And having mixed drinks with wine never ends well for me. I wish they would have explained that medal wearing supper club. Who are they?? I belong to a supper club and we don't have bling. I'm going to google them as soon as I can remember the name. Or maybe there's info on the Bravo site. Haven't been there yet. The cameraman sure loved that blondes cleavage! Lot's of boob shots. I never noticed Camille until I saw her kneeling on top of the stove to beat her batter...and then she went home.

I had a roommate that would do this. Unwrapped on a wooden cutting board. Sometimes overnight and through the next day. Other than that she was fairly neat.

I made the Thai-Lao Grilled Chicken with Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce and the Spicy Cucumber Salad from Hot Sour Salty Sweet with Jasmin Rice. The marinade was a paste of coriander, black pepper, garlic and fish sauce with some additional fish sauce. The dipping sauce is red pepper flakes, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic and salt. I grilled one big breast half and BF and I split it. Very tasty! I know I know my pictures are blurry! I don't know how I did that But here it is anyway. Maybe I should start uploading photos before I eat I also need to get out my other dinner plates since I've photographed these so many times

Yep and next time I discuss the movie with non foodie friends I'm going to quote this thread! Seriously-I'm a full fledged foodie and know a little about wine(enough to recognize the names, Cheval Blanc, Lafite and Latour anyway) but I'm not as educated as Daniel Rogov. I think the e-gulleteers saw a different movie than a lot of the people in the theaters.

I have the AB salt cellar and love it. I also have some salt pigs I bought at an antique store. I'm a compulsive hand washer.

Now why did you have to tell me about this? ***updates list***

I cooked from Hot Sour Salty Sweet. This is the squid with ginger garlic sauce and the spicy cucumber salad and some coconut rice from the Cradle of Flavor cookbook. I had a more colorful picture with cilantro sprinkled on the squid but I accidently deleted it

I think it would be extremely difficult to be a single mother and a chef at a successful restaurant. In the German version the girl hung out in the kitchen during business hours. Is that realistic?

I read THIS book and was also reminded of Bernard Loiseau, who also committed suicide over the loss of a Michelin star. Great book btw.

I loved that part. They were clean rats! HERE one of the animators discuss how he came up with the taste visualization scenes.

LOL Rooftop I'd love to see what you come up with! And your pictures please! I'm not as adventurous as you and have no experience with offal but I'm curious.

I'm new at taking pictures of food Last night I made the Grill Roasted Clam Linguine and the Spanish Style Grilled Vegetables with Breadcrumb Picada from the July issue of Bon Appetite. Both were yummy!

Tell him to get a part time job cooking at Shogun to pay for it It's cool but if I were handy and could build one I'd make it cooler.
