  6. Do you know if it's the same Win's that used to be on Arbutus - where Finest at Sea is now? They used to be my delivery place of choice before the fire . . .. ← Definitely the same Folks-had a chance to talk to the Manager today got the whole sad story about what happened after the fire. Anyway they've landed on their feet and lunch today was excellent. A fine addition to the 'hood-ready to give Connie's a run for their money. ← Thanks Sam - I'll definitely check them out - Connie's became my second-best backup when Win's burnt down. Happy that they've reopened - they are doing delivery, right? ← yes they do delivery. I received their pink flyer in the mail on Friday the menu looks the same as it did before the fire.

  11. Jakov: If you are a regular customer and like the service that is provided then a tip in the tip jar would be fine. Or if your cheque is $8.25 and you say keep the rest and hand them a $10 bill then that is another way around it. Hope this helps Kev

  13. For your reading pleasure a list of every inflight magazine http://www.itravelnet.com/publications/inf...tmagazines.html I actually have a copy of a previous Air Canada Food issue, and look forward to reading the latest. The main article in that issue (2005) was written by Chris Johns, and I found it very informative, and entertaining. Have you read the issue. Have you read the issue. We do not all look to Air Canada to rank our restaurants for us, but to compare some fine new restaurants, and let travellers know where they could try some hardworking, and brave restauranteurs new project is not all that bad. Their are so many new websites set up by so many Internet publishers, like yours, out there that presume to inform us on restaurants, and many other subjects. Why would we want to look to your website when it is not even the most important website in my favorite list. Because we can. So do not shoot the messenger. I think your larger issue is actually quite small. ← I just don't think most people will ever take an in-flight magazine seriously, whether they should or not. They will always be associated with puff-pieces and "top steakhouses in Atlanta" articles, and I don't think that's going to change any time soon. In fact, in the 90s there was a sitcom thats puppose was to mock them. The name is escaping me at the moment. And my post was mostly tongue-in-cheek, for anyone who didn't catch that. ←
  14. Impressive just under 3 posts a day average. Adam's Guide will be a big loss. The site format needs updating, but there's an amazing amount of information in it ... although I could do without his rants on Tapas and Paella Anyone want to talk me into investing? Or maybe UrbanDiner can incorprate it. A. ps - 3000th post. I need a life. ←
