Sorry for the spelling errors it should be jerky but I have found a new contender for the best jerky: http://www.beefjerky.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=26 Final Frontier Beef Jerky. Anyone tried it?

I usually go to Granville Island and purchase beef jerkey from the first butcher near the fruit and vegetable stand beside the fish place. They informed me on Thursday that they don't sell it anymore only packaged beef jerkey. I need some help to find a new supplier. Freybe's packaged beef jerkey is fine but not as fresh and I do not own a smoker so that doesn't help. Any tips on where to buy it or a way to make it at home without a smoker? ie what meat works best, temperature hours, etc...

Get out! You have a web site or series of web sites that focus on restaurants that cater to special dietary needs in Vancouver, Seattle, Victoria and Ontario?? You should be like Feenie and promote those web sites somehow. Maybe a food oriented on-line forum or something like that. A. PS - Like good food, Feenie rocks! ← You rock to A. ps you forgot to mention that it is free sign up.

Will do. Thanks

You mean you won't do a photo shoot from the goodness of your heart to say help out with promoting special dietary needs....

Kilala Sushi Bar on Hastings just east of Willingdon: "My friend told me that the Japanese Consulate orders sushi from Kilala Sushi Bar. I asked the hostess whether this is true, and she was very modest about it, but said that yes, the Japanese Consulate does actually order sushi from them. This is not something that they advertise, or would even tell you unless you knew to ask".
