  1. No. Not even close.
  2. Oh do hurry up Timbo. I'm simply giddy with anticipation.
  3. Timbo - I triple dare you to print this thread and take it with you. His Royal Hestoness will love it.
  4. Uncanny, a few hundred miles away, and at the same time, I was saying the same thing about you to Rosie. ← Me too!
  5. You might want to consider 1st or 2nd Dec - for dinner.
  6. This is one of the best food related programs in years. He should go to the US and make the same show.
  7. Veggies delivered via organic box. Meat - Borough All other business - Waitrose.
  8. L'Astrance is a must. Repaire Du Cartouche for fabulous wines and game. Chez Michel was great in the Spring this year, but I've heard service is getting even ruder. I think of Robuchon as a chain outfit now. A very overpriced chain outfit. Catch a train to Nice and have a couple of days on the Cote - go to Louis XV for the set lunch. Lucky lucky you.
  9. I thought it was hilarious.
  10. If you mean Chef Ramsay, he ain't cooked in that kitchen for years. I think we may see even more of Chef Ramsay in the press over the coming weeks. (If that's possible).
  11. His head is a continuity giveaway... shaved to varying degrees throughout the programme. ← The bits filmed in Ludlow must have been from the 2005 Sausage Trail, as this year it was glorious sunshine, and exceptionally warm for the whole weekend.
  12. Cheltenham for Champignon Sauvage
  13. Who are the young up-coming stars of Spanish cuisine? Thank you.
  14. I've had 2 meals at Hisop in the past 18 months, and neither has dissapointed. (Always booked via email.) During december they have beautiful table decorations.
  15. Oh yes! They look like babies. BTW - The Campbell book is very very good.
  16. I browsed a copy in Waterstones today - looks beautiful. Lovely to see many of the dishes I've tried over the months. It's on my Christmas list.
  17. Sounds like a fun trip, thanks for sharing. I've got to ask though - what did you think "Steak Rossini" was going to be, if not Fillet & Foie Gras?
  18. never been to NYC, but the paris one offers phenomenal value imo. ← Scott - you are obviously minted to come to that conclusion.
  19. Did you get any idea of pricing? NYC has been deemed far too high, and the Paris locations, although nice, are too expensive for what they serve.
  20. You know me and Mr. Champagne - very simple tastes.
  21. What a busy Chef he must be. Opening 2 major restaurants within weeks of each other?
  22. In a good or bad way? Personally, I don't like seasoning on the table in a high end restaurant. I'm hoping that the chef has prepared the meal exactly as it should be eaten. My experience of 11 Mad over the last 5 months has been very positive.
