  1. I had a fun brunch at Craft Bar a month or so back. Good food, much needed cocktails , and a refreshing stroll around the market after.
  2. Why would you do this? I enjoy going to new restaurants, and if they are good, I like to make return trips over a period of months and years to see how it evolves.
  3. Dinner for 2 a few months ago was €700.00 Worth every euro.
  4. Some of the best food photography by an "amateur" can be found atChez Pim.
  5. I agree. To be fair, Rimmer, a self trained chef, pretty much knows that he is not on the same level as Wareing (who is coming across as a bloody nice bloke). He's going for the plan of cooking in a different style to try and win on "uniqueness". Rimmers main last night looked and sounded very grim, Wareing's dish was great in that it was very representative of the region, but would the Queen, or anyone for that matter, really want to eat Hotpot in June??? Rhodsie to win.
  6. beef dripping ? ← Yep. I seem to remember pork dripping as well.
  7. It's got to be bread and dripping. The sunday night tea of my childhood.
  8. I'm now bored with the show - it really does not have to be on every night from here to eternity, repeating the same old crap again and again and again and again........... My hate of Jenny "I'm the Queens best pal" Bond had grown to the point where I mute or FF when she's on screen. Might try it again at the end.
  9. I love GBK. Their garlic Mayo is lethal though.
  10. Cheers! I won't bother watching what I've recorded now. Please do spoiler alert for stuff like this.
  11. Right, how about QUOD? Very central, reasonable pricing, fun drinks and game on for girlie fun.
  12. The only way I'm managing to watch the show is using Sky+. 1/2 an hour becomes a pretty easy 10 minutes. Jenny Bond is gradually annoying me more and more - to the point I'd welcome Greg "2nd hand veg salesman" Wallace to do the presenting.
  13. Yes........big time.....you are allowed 100 minute maximum though you start getting the hurry up after 90. ←
  14. Fairpoint - but I'm sure you know that phone votes can be rigged. Very easily.
  15. Rather scarily, HM is usually right. Tim - I shall never forgive you for "outing" me. Neither of tonights dishes appealled to me.
  16. No - not at all. Personally, out of all of the chefs, I think I would prefer Rhodes. Her Madge, being an April babe like me might fancy the same.
  17. So what would you choose to put in your own no limits sarnie? ← I'd get rid of the Brie to start - and possibly the red peppers, other than that, a pretty good sarnie.
