hey Jerry, I would stay at the Almadraba and taxi it. Our taxi waited there for us and was reasonably priced. The drive is short and lovely/scary and the hotel is on a small yet perfectly formed beach, ideal for a stroll, either post prandial or early the next morning

Have to sleep on the others I don't think the chocolate chip icecream from Kramer v Kramer when Billy refuses the salisbury steak is the answer to the last one??? actually just realised that the one scrambled egg etc is from one of my all time favourite movies It Happened One Night with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. A total classic, not to be missed. (The inside of the bus is like no greyhound today and I don't think a blanket room divider would last the night now either)

ah Karen, not milk toast but bread soaked in milk with a sprinkling of sugar if we were poorly not to mention bread and dripping...did you do that in the States?, spreading the fat and jellied meat juices from the Sunday roast(kept in a special jar), on a slice of bread with salt and pepper. (must admit I still keep such a jar )
