Moe loves his breakfast. I don't even care if I have breakfast. Unless of course it is something sweet like a scone or danish. Or dinner. Since I wasn't working today I decided to make a big breakfast before we headed to our workshop. I had planned to grill Moe a steak last night but plans changed so I grilled it for him this morning and he had poached eggs on toasted English Muffins with homemade Hollandaise and I made myself Eggs Benedict. Fried potatoes on the side. We like our eggs cooked differently. Soft and runny for him and on the hard side for me.

Got to change things up occasionally and give him real breakfast food.

Made Moe is favourite pancakes for breakfast this morning. He prefers them thin not thick. And swimming in pure Maple Syrup.

I'm sorry it is so costly here too. Otherwise I would buy it.

@mm84321, that dinner looks amazing. I really want the chicken. Pizza tonight. Dough was in the fridge since yesterday afternoon. Vegetarian pizza for Matt - Artichoke and Pesto And Pepperoni and mushroom for Moe and I.

Moe`s breakfast. I made Chili Verde (pork) this morning. Served with black beans and salsa. Beans cooked in the Breville PC while the chili simmered on the stove. I`m working today so will take the same thing for lunch.

@Anna N, I haven't gone to school or taken any bread baking classes. Just a home cook/bread baker.

Breakfast this morning. Pork Piccata in a lemon green peppercorn sauce with a side of pasta.

Moe's breakfast. Steak and buttered based eggs and fried potatoes. I'm working today but this should keep him fueled while he works on finishing sanding some of our boards today.

Didn't make dinner last night so I made it for breakfast. Grilled Pork Chop with potato gratin cooked in chicken broth, squash and Brussels sprouts.

Made Moe French toast for breakfast and instead of maple syrup he had homemade Plum Syrup made and sent to me by a facebook friend.

Fried side pork with toast. I offered Moe the option of eggs to go with the side pork, but like me he was happy with just the toast.

WOW!! look at that crumb. Love the idea of just cheese and pepper.

@Margaret Pilgrim, those look perfect. Thank you for including the recipe. I've never made crumpets. Made poached eggs for breakfast. Moe likes his cooked this way. And made one for myself. I like my eggs more "well" done.

Grilled Greek Baby Back ribs for dinner last night. With rice and Greek Salad.

@blue_dolphin, Moe would love your breakfast. Actually so would I. I had some shrimp in the freezer and since I don't really like shrimp I decided to use this morning and make Moe shrimp and pasta for breakfast.

That's my favourite. Lovely sear.

I roasted chicken breasts, bone in before leaving for work yesterday so we could have Hot Chicken Sandwiches. Made the gravy in the morning too. Served with our traditional double fried fries and canned peas. My son bought me an early Christmas present. A new kitchen toy. With two blades. 3/8th inch and a 1/2 inch. Yesterday's fries were the 1/2".

Up early again Saturday morning so decided to bake a Tarte au Sucre. This is a buttery sweet brioche dough. Baked in a shallow pan. Came out of the oven in time for me to make Moe another Cappuccino to have with the Tarte, before leaving for work.

I'm craving turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes after seeing all the Thanksgiving dinners here. @Duvel your venison and @mgaretz roast beef, both perfectly cooked. Shepherds Pie for dinner last night.

My poor salad deprived husband is happy to have a salad any time so I made him one for breakfast.

I love drinking wine out of these types of glasses. Small tumblers. Use to be an Italian restaurant in Toronto that we went to that served wine in similar glasses. Tonight's dinner. Platter for two.

Thanks @Kim Shook. Mr. Kim sounds like Moe. I'll often give him options to choose from and he will take something simple like a tuna sandwich. Or just toast and tea. Made him scrambled eggs for breakfast with toasted bagels.
