Bzginski (SP!) at East village meat market is the best sandwich ham in the city...it's polish. 2nd ave bet St.marks and 9th.

I don't mind it for truffles or fois on a meu of a certain price point...but to have shrimp on my shrimp salad at brunch...forget it.

Turkey's gross. but I could imagine it good in: creme croquette pot pie turkey salad gumbo empanadas bbq sandwich tamales if you really want to waste a day (hellooo that's why god invented pigs...)
