We used to have a dwarfed tree when I was a kid... the lemons were the size of a softball. The tree was from Sorrento and really old I loved to scratch the lemons skin and just sniff them tracey you could try an Italian American club and maybe find some old Italian still growing some at home

Off the top of my head I would say the best time for a cold call walk-in would be between 2 and 3 pm...assuming a take-out / gourmet drygoods store. Mornings are for prep, then there is lunch, after 3 is the mommy and kids time and after 5 the manager is gone. tracey

Cricket Hill Brewery 24 Kulick Rd Fairfield, NJ 07004 http://crickethillbrewery.com/index.html A coworker has been going on about a Wacky new Brewery in Fairfield. They hold tastings and tours on Fridays and even have hosted a wedding right on the brewing floor. Thats about all I know - coworker's cousin's buddy is the owner maybe? So, the tour and tasting cups are FREE and you can puchase bottles at a discount... We might give it a try tonight tracey edit for spelling maybe I do need a beer

No pantry, no basement, no attic, get this, no closets. Aaah the joy of a converted summer house. I currently have 4 cases of soda in my car trunk, the dog food and paper goods in the garage, and tomorrow the soda will be joined by a case of canned tomatoes that are now on sale. not 50lb bags of flour its 3 different 20lb bags of Rice that is the problem tracey

If you want to know why there isnt any lamb...although I can get it just fine in the supermarkets in North Jersey...take a month and read Centennial. America is/was cattle country, 100 years ago you could and most likely did get shot for bringing sheep to Colorado, Wyoming or Nebraska. There is even an anecdote in the book about a new preacher giving an extensive serman based on the shepards and lamb of Gd etc...he was asked to leave town, after his steak dinner. Not that you can get it easily but Icelandic lamb is the stuff of culinary dreams, the nightmare is the $60 FedEx bill tracey

Repurposed meats are great in salads and pasta dishes. I agree for the Steak a nice tangy salad would be perfect and for the Pork maybe a creamy pasta dish, sundried tomatoes or lightly cooked peppers and onion, or something Asian/noodley. Composed salads are fun too with steamed veg and grilled meats potatoes or pasta right in there. Especially with roasted chicken you can make chicken salads or salads with chicken. tracey
