when i sit down to wright a special i look through james pertersons sauces first then the meal materializes . i love that book its next on my list of books to own the latest was the chocolate deserts by pierre herme damn good book . and my german master exec chef in school would alway come up behind me and say you call that saucing your plate give them more no more give me da plate this is ssssheeet . like theeeees . and he put alot of sauce on his plates . almost like a soup hahahaha that crazy old man . i love you chef

i love those days fats . saute is my strong point and i love getting it down to a science where your slammed out beyond the weeds yet you can still carry on a heady convo about buddah and how zen is mixed up to much with his teachings . hehehehe . did you say borsin ..... ahhhhhhhhhhh well me and borsin used to be real close the shit you can do with that cheese . good line snak is borsin heated on a piece of bread with sarachi ooooooo yea . today was watermellon with tobasco and lime and chili powder mmmmmmmmm me and fortino slamed that back then a little sandwich action ham swiss whole grain with this spinich spread thats prittty good . till tonight

i lived in phoenix for most of my life and ate almost nothing but mexican food . most of it was northern mexican influenced of course . and did see quite alot of taco stands offering both lettus and cabbage one stand even had this sauted purple cabbage salsa thing wow was that good . but for the most part the tacos de piscado had the cabbage always on it as a default item they put on and not you at the side of the stands ......... ok now im hungry even in mexico they had cabbage as an option i visited hermisillo and the baja de keno and of course nogalas several times . and all the way down we stopped at seedy little taco stands and i remember that half and half had cabbage i like it better because it has that spicy flavor to it so i always look for it mmmmmm i do love me some tacos

ok everythings fine uuuuu ive had withdaws people i was freakin out man i didnt know what to do im ok now ........ ill start off yesterday had crab dip and fried flour tortilla chips and some fried mushrooms was really good . then sunday was fend for yourself day we had steaks oh yea we were bitter that day sundays always suk saterday was this nasty pasta crap no one ate because you could have put up wall paper with it . friday was nothing we were allowed to make tortas at the end of the night i made a fried chicken mari sc with melted prov cheese and lots o parm sand there were too many variations to discribe . i dont remember the rest glad to see this world is back and running strong love you guys

oh man you guys are making me sooo hungry . chef dog that sausage sand sounds the bomb , fats have not had gumbo for so long it sounds soooooo good . today am was some ham tomato and chedar pasta salad that i crushed chips into soooo tas t . then some of this austrian potato soup was very good like a stew with bacon and carrots those crazy germans know how to good thats for sure talk to ya tonight . side convo : hey benito ya know what i made at my house yesterday . what juan ? i made some pesole verde with some tostadas and coronas . you bastard and you didnt bring any in did you . know way cavron we ate it all . you little ........ how much for a bowl . maybe you come over some sunday and we make dinner and you meet my family and we get drunk and eat and play cards . man juan thanx but you know i work every sunday im always workin man . yea ese you always workin . tell me more about that pasole man ............ well ese you take onion and tomalilla and cook them in a saute pan and make salsa verde and mix it in unlit thick then add it to your pasole base with chicken instead of beef . oh and my wife maka da flan way . ok juan i m movin in with you way how much is rent ....

what a crappy long day it was yesterday . coo coo , coo coo . am was busy as hell and never let up . i ended up eating a garbage sandwich was very good .was ends and pieces from the omlets that i was going to throw away .some tobasco glass of milk . then i walk into the shining pit of hell . pm was really crapy no emp meal no prep no nothing . never even had time to eat. after the devil stuck his pitch fork in my ass . went and had two pints o the blackness and went to bed

today ........oh.......my ...........god..........there are no discriptive words in the engish language to tell you about tonights pasta suprise . uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu pasty ? and soupy at the same time ? uuuuuuuuuuuuchunks of something . red bits of something . well needless to say we filled our plates as not to offend and threw it away on line and juan and i looked at each eother and smiled . ok way whatchu thinkin ese . i dont know juan think tocos de cabeza con chili verdi and pazole sounds good . we don have that shit para comida puto . yea i know well how bout a torta with black beans avocado ham swiss bacon and mayo sound . odale ese ta bien . so we scarfed it as we kneeled down in front of our coolers . and almost got caught a couple of times . la la la ....la la....la. crunch crunch crunch . then had a messed up cream brule for desert wasnt that good but im a creme brule snob . till tomarrow

i never understood those weirdos myself , not wanting to eat ...... and mcdonnalds of all the dog food you could chose from id rather eat well my own vomit after a good meal . ........mc donnalds yeh i feel ya on that . well my point of this thread was to tell tales about what ya did eat at work as many do as well . as dont . soooooo here goes ............. am was a turkey and swiss sand on rye grilled with a bacon mayo sourcream spread thats the bomb. sounds like a case of the shits tho and some coffee . split it with the other cook i e=was workin with . cool dude. pm was yes good people you guessed it my personal favorits and here to stay ................da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa pasta suprise ......what the hell is .......... and that uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwell its hot . thats right its saracha time mmmmmmmmmm have i told you guys about how much sarachi and i love each other . its getting to the point that i get jelous when someone else squizes her bottle . till tomarrow ........GEMB

you speaka mi langua free martha yes havung the product is the hard part i live in the middle of the country so its hard to find good mexican food . save for at my house and on occation someone will bring something in to work . i miss menudo your making me sad sunday mornings little taco stand run by an 70 year old woman and her son . crispy tortillas and lots o calantro and onion . and i came in a bowl that must have been a have been a half gallon. today we made fried chic how ironic . mashed taters and pan gravy and spinich yum yum and yum . we made the only brother there make it and it was good we teased him tho poor guy . hes got a great attitude tho and we had fun back and forth with our unenlightened convo about race . ie wheres the watermellon sorbet heeheheheh the food was the bomb well needed change from crap pasta suprise . and for a moment ............. it was like my family we all sat around and busted each others balls and one of the guys made kool aid (perfect fit) and we just laughed and ate and had fun ............ i do miss those family meals jokin laughen lettin the food get cold pissin my mother off .

lifes been crazy . sorry guys . well long story short a bolt of lightening struck right by my house and killed all my electronics save for my commputer thank god its brand new . man that was frightening tho . well im back now today was old cix salad and four grain bread and some chips with spinich sourcream spread on em damn good and a grapefruit with salt and tobasco on it that also was the bomb diggity . well lets see whats in store for me now mystery pasta fried chix who can say................................. good to be back tho missed seein the postes

hey nick , well its a comfort food to me . my father always made macral cakes mac n cheese and some canned vegi it was cheep and filling , i guess he loved it and we all hated it...... now.........i crave it . didnt know there waas a a baked beans and fish cakes fettish that sounds good as well . i know its a sin too love canned baked beans but bushes honey bacon are my favorite even over my own , yea i know smashing my own ego ........heads too big for the room must get bigger room hhahahahahaha . well loyal readers of the employee meal thread today pm was once again fend foryourself day . this sparked me to talk to my old buddy that is skinny as hell and always hungry juanito . i said hey uuuuuuuuuuuuuu you hungry man . he said uuuuuuuu yea wutch u makin ese . i said torta . and a smile that warmed the room and caused wrinkles from ear to ear came to his face i said , ham , avocado , cheddar , tomato , honey mustard , and basil . he said maaaan i got a piece of fried chicken that is dead and so it was and on this day we stuffed our selves with a bomb ass torta of course it was on the sly donde la hefe benito . in la office way todo ta bien vato . oooooooo man mi vida loco , asta leuago . my spanglish sux .

today am . had some turkey and swiss on a piece of romain lettus . simple but good oh yeah and a broken maccaroon ans a chocolate petifour they were both tasty now on two job # 2 what will emplyeee slop hold for me there the fun thing is its always different and always slop

today was fend for yourself day he he he {rubs hands together} so i made a fried fish avocado and bacon sandwich with tarter sauce . then later took the left over chips and through some bean soup in and some sour cream and some salt and went in face first the other guys were jelious . and now a honey brown for desert mmmmmmmmcheep beer

today was flour tortilla nachos muy bieno hamburger cheese sauce toms guac sour lettus very grengo but good . i really wanted some tomatillo salsa but you know............... not in the southwest anymore , those guys would bring in there own salsas from home man we'd have 10 different kinds of salsa all the time . thoses were the good old days

jpd chef it was a fusion if you can picture that ? not so much together not like mango encrusted snitzel or anything but a german chef who loved picific rim food and of course german food as well . the only good thing there was the wood fire pizza oh man yummy stuff. well chef dog its just me and you and im not stoppin so right on brother right on today was a bowl of chicken soup with chips dipped in mayo ...... i know . till tonight .

well today was very interesting had small bites of this and that and nothing really substantial to wright about save for some bailys ice cream that we got in as a sample was good and had lots o vanilla beans in it . oh pineapple is in season too had some pineapple bones yummy .

sounds good chef dog i love sausage and pepers especially the ones you can get at the fair that have sat there for 12 hours mmmmmm . today was a ham swiss and ranch lettus wrap with some peanuts , then some cake i snagged was good . think it was lemon petifor startings . till tonight
