  3. Okay, okay, can we cut the NYT Food & Dining section a little slack? It is July and temperatures are soaring outside ... there is an article on green markets and one on our local Atlantan Anne Quattrano's peaches ... and it is usually somewhat more engaging, I'll admit ... and, from time to time there is a Julia Moskin piece ... Asimov has something nice on sweeter wines... and Fabricant has some nectarine ideas ... maybe they perk up come fall ...

  10. Still hopeful that we can focus our comments on the upcoming show rather than on a "verbal bombardment" of Rachel Ray ... Perhaps, once it has actually aired, we can better decide on the merits (or lack of merit) the show brings ... fair enough?
  11. USA Today article ... A quick look at all of the media today has the same news which is that Rachel Ray's newest venture, her television show, debuts on September 18th ... NY Daily News has a similar article ... I actually think that this may work out well .. she wants to use her "content buddies" to share ideas ... and she adds that no show will follow any one theme ... maybe this isn't so farfetched after all ...

  13. I came across this recently: from U Penn on African restaurants which may, or may not, be of value ... In Atlanta, we have one restaurant of which I am aware, Ethiopian Abbay Restaurant which is popular with the local Ethiopian community.

Just got home from shopping and went to check out The Pavillion of Dunwoody ... beautiful place with excellent parking next to the building itself ... if I were planning a special event for my family, I would put this at the top of my list since it is near my house ...
