  1. What part of the camel does that smell like? Actually, my husband is very into teas (but not teasing, sadly ) and he actually has some LS in his collection ... maybe that is LSD, gotta go check the label more carefully ...
  2. After checking out the websites for pu-erh teas, and noting with some dismay that the tea is often referred to as "Camel's Breath", I am reviewing the situation more closely!

  7. This is starting to look like a tasting menu .. from the 50's! Amuse bouche: Miracle Whip en gelee Entree: Tator Tot Cassoulet with Foam of Chef Boyardee Ravioli Dessert: minimarshmallows with frozen fruit cocktail loaf
  8. ground beef browned small chopped onion 1 can cream of mushroom soup + 1/3 can milk add to meat mixture put in casserole dish grate 1 cup Cheddar cheese over meat mixture. top with 1 pound tator tots A true classic and every single recipe for this looks virtually the same ... BTW, bloviatrix, I think that OreIda has some sort of rabbinical supervision now by some kashruth authority ... but, obviously, only when the Tots are served "neat", not in this milky-meaty casserole!
  9. The recipe on Daniel Rogov's site has garlic slices in it but none are evident in this recipe from the Food Network .. and that comes from none other than Emeril himself!
  10. Fortnum & Mason describes Gentleman's Relish as a spiced anchovy relish so I assume it would be good on toast .. they sell it in a small porcelain pot ...now I absolutely must try it! with eggs! Thanks for mentioning something I would never have even known about!

  17. To me a down-and-dirty, quick, almost too easy answer is that restaurants can charge considerably more for cheesecake .. and it can be frozen with no ill effects ... easy and profitable ... how bad is that??!

  23. Sir , methinks you are mocking me. ← Not at all .. just pointing out that in the South, we know people are thirsty and don't charge them for natural bodily functions! Not a sir but, may God forgive me for this, a Madam ... not that kind either!!
  24. Outrageous! Charging for water really ... the South understands a person's thirst is not quenched the first time around ...
  25. sugar optional?? But mine is sweeter and uses cornbread and genuine Vidalia onions, which makes it the most authentic Southern squash casserole around, Fifi!
