Just down the road from my place, on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst NJ, is a Mexican take-out place with fresh tortillas that is indeed owned and run by Koreans.

I think you may be thinking of Tja! on Church Street in Manhattan, which bills itself as "Scandinasian." I think it may still be in business.

I regret to inform the eGullet community that VietChef 93 has closed its doors forever.

Thank goodness. It could be the worst chinese food I had ever tasted-- greasy, soggy and mean service.
