It's that time of year!

Has anyone seen any in Paris restaurants?

(I know there's probably plenty down in the Bleu D'Auvergne area!)

Not me, but I'm hardly ever in restos that would serve them

The only truffles I've seen so far are the white italian ones from Alba. I think it's a bit early for the french black truffle, the tuber melanosporum: maybe in a couple of weeks?

Anyone have ideas wehre I can go to buy some decent truffles? It seems like its about the seaon and since I'm headed back to New York to visit some people in a couple of days thought I might bring some back.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
