Now this might seem a bit obvious for me to say this but Arbutus fits the bill perfectly.

Matthew, thanks for that. One of the things about living somewhere like Newcastle is that you automatically assume the only places open on a Sunday night are Chinese and Indian. Arbutus looks just the job.

I had a really fantastic Sunday lunch at Locanda Locatelli a couple of weekends ago. Hadn't been there before and I was impressed. They are open for dinner on Sundays as well until 10pm (their website says)
