Passing throught Westwood, I see that this place has finally opened after a long wait...

Has anybody been here yet, are they anything like the ones in NYC in the 60s and 70s, with their feature Walnut Cream Cheese on dark raisin bread? (Yum, yum!)

I guess the coffee is good (?) Is this place owned by the coffee company or is it by license arrangement?

Glad to hear it has finally opened. Been waiting to try it, maybe next Sunday. Do you know if they have full breakfasts or just a continental breakfast?

Well we stopped here this morning, and all they have are breakfast sandwiches. Egg and cheese on a bagel, roll or croissant, with bacon, ham or sausage.

They have Paninis and wraps for lunch or dinner.

It is an internet cafe, with just a few tables.

They also have muffins and donuts.

We wound up at the Westwood diner for omelettes.

I miss Moon and Sue's great omelettes!

They are located at

325 Broadway (across from the train station)

One openned in Butler (on rt. 23s) about 9 months ago serving only coffe and a few nibbles. The coffe was ok, it lasted about 6 months and then dissapeed. I wonder if somebody just bought the name and figured they coud duplicate Starbucks?

I'm a NYC expat. Since coming to the darkside, as many of my freinds have said, I've found that most good things in NYC are made in NJ.

My local movie theatre chain, Regal (was Hoyt's until recently), has a "Chock Full 'O Nuts" coffee bar in several of their local theatres. The coffee is pretty bad and the espresso is worse.
