Anheuser World Select

I noticed that the subways are now plastered with ads for Anheuser World Select lager.

Anyone?

i refer to it as "super bud." if you like bud, you'll probably like this beer. if you hate bud, as i suspect most people here do, you'll probably hate this beer as well.

Yes, I has the opportunity to try it a few months ago - and was not impressed at all. It is really too bad as the bottle looks incredible. I guess that says it all for good marketing!

I sampled it at AB's booth at the National Restaurant show last May. I liked it more than Bud. It was less on the corn and rice and more on the Pilsen style......but it was no euro-pilsner! It was refreshing but I would never buy it.

I got a promo packet (and some pilsner glasses!) from A-B about this beer, and that "10 Brewers, one beer" crap is just that. It's just beer, and a mediocre one at that.
