Good Midwesterners (being an ex mself) love the Market, Why not take them there and then to Maximillians. those wanting seafood can eat mussels, those that are vegies can have the omlet or French onion soup?

I want to put in my vote for The Oceanaire. [snip]

The service was nice but a bit too smart.

LOL. Our waiter regaled us with his tales of being at Woodstock at age 5 and his 300 (or something) Grateful Dead concerts.

And also they bait-and-switched us with the 2001 reisling on the wine list and brought us a 2002 instead. But it was a lot of fun anyway because the food and setting were nice and there were some very drunk people in the dining room singing snippets of 80s songs for 2 hours and falling over in their chairs.

Maybe he thought we were tourists.

Don't you have any waiters at your place who tell wacky stories?
