I have a few needs that a glass kettle that can boil water within 2 minutes would help me out with.

 This is their site: https://cosori.com/products/cosori-electric-tea-kettle?srsltid=AfmBOopRjlRCTV73TkjMVj5Z9ob3C1jvMKl2kg6JQf-Rb4qmQVPWlDMy

Has anyone used or bought one before? I’m still looking at how they charge as that will affect the charging time.

At that price, I could make ramen with it, tea, tea to turn into iced tea, and also use it to have boiling water to clean with.

Is it really 2 minutes?  From the web site:

Equipped with British Strix thermostat and 1500 watts, the hot water heater swiftly brings water to a boil, providing hot water in just 3 to 7 minutes.

And I don't know that I'd want a kettle made of glass holding 6 cups of boiling water.  I might prefer my Cuisinart, which also keeps water at temp for 30 minutes.

MF5, did you notice the small print in the ad? Two minutes is for 500 ml, which would be enough for tea or a small bowl of ramen, but not much else. And I'm not sure what you mean by "charge," as it's a plug-in unit.

Gene Weingarten, writing in the Washington Post about online news stories and the accompanying readers' comments: "I basically like 'comments,' though they can seem a little jarring: spit-flecked rants that are appended to a product that at least tries for a measure of objectivity and dignity. It's as though when you order a sirloin steak, it comes with a side of maggots."

honestly I didn’t. So thank you for that. I’d like to find something that independently of a stove can heat a decent amount of water to a boil quickly.

Got caught up in random Amazon ads.

Most of these kettles sold in the US are 1500 watts, so they'll mostly boil water in the same amount of time. We had one that a couple of hundred watts more powerful, and you noticed the difference. It broke for unrelated reasons. Manufacturers avoid doing this, because if you plug them into a 15 amp circuit, and use just about anything else on the same circuit, the breaker trips.

In other parts of the world the wiring standards give a higher ceiling for powerful gadgets.
