Hi everyone! Would love your honest feedback.

I built a little egg-cooking robot for my family, and now I’m wondering if this is something worth pursuing more seriously.

Here’s what it does:

🥚 You drop in 1–2 eggs
🔥 It preheats, cracks, and fries them sunny-side-up
🕒 You can press start or set a timer so it’s ready when you are
🧼 The arms and pan are removable and dishwasher safe

Some background on why I made it:

  • My dad eats a fried egg every morning

  • My wife is usually rushing out the door and skips breakfast

  • I want a big breakfast, but when I’m in the zone with work, cooking feels like a disruption.

Here's a short demo video (link)

I’m trying to figure out if this is something worth taking to mass manufacturing or if it's too niche.

So I’d love your thoughts:

  • Would you use something like this?
  • If not, what would it need to do differently for you to consider it?

Any and all feedback is welcome! 🙏 (Also happy to send a test unit your way if you’re interested—DM me!)

Hi everyone! Trying to figure out if this is worth pursuing…

I made an automatic egg cracking/frying robot for my family. For example...

  • my dad eats a fried egg every morning
  • my wife is usually in a rush to go to work and misses breakfast
  • I want to have a big breakfast with bacon and eggs but spending time cooking is annoying when I'm already in the zone ready to start work for the day.

image.thumb.png.a62624829470b477720c6c3ad668b1be.png

It's pretty straight forward (see video demo here)…drop in 1-2 eggs, hit start or set a time you want it to be ready, it preheats, cracks, and cooks a sunny side up egg. The arms that get dirty are removable and dishwasher safe, and so is the pan.

I'm trying to figure out if this is something worth pursuing and taking to mass manufacturing, or if not that many people would find it useful.

So my question is….

  • Would you use this?
  • If not, are there any features it needs to have that would make you use it?

Looking for any advice/feedback, thank you!  (Also if you'd like me to send you one to try out, feel free to drop a message or DM)
