Candy Fudge Topping

  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 T cocoa
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1/4 c light corn syrup
  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/3 c heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla

heavy 2 qt. saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk and corn syrup. Bring mixture to a full boil stirring constantly, boil 8 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate and butter until melted then add the cream. Return to heat and bring back to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla.
