Sorry my post is a little confusing--I originally had it in the wrong place and it lost some context in the move. I had found a bunch of old EG posts indicating that people were buying cartons of just double-yolk eggs that are purposely sold as such. I've never seen that and was wondering if it's something you see more in Asian markets or what. That's what I meant by "where do you buy them?" (Because obviously, duh, I buy them at my farmer's market!)

As I mentioned up topic, I can buy them in most local supermarkets. They are sold in cartons of 1 doz (same as most eggs) and are clearly marked "Double Yolk". Don't recall seeing them in the Asian markets.

Our local farmer's market store has a sign up that says that they sell regular eggs, brown eggs, and double-yolked eggs. It's the only place I've ever seen double-yolked eggs specifically advertised. I haven't actually seen a double-yolker since I was a little girl.

I had my first double yolk today. It was from regular Shop-Rite eggs. If I hadn't seen this thread recently, I would have been really surprised.
