:biggrin: Ok, so we're finally making it out to stay with friends who live in Oxford, and as they will be putting 4 of us up, and acting as tour guides and travel agents for three weeks, we wuld like to be able to take them out somewhere special to say thank you.

You could try Jo Seagars new cafe in Oxford. We went for a look a few weeks ago but did not have time to eat there. The place was packed. Failing that there is the Nor Wester cafe in Amberley approximately 20 - 30 mins drive away............or the wineries are always good
