I know that Kim Phat on the south shore (the big one) sells live snails in their shells (possibly escargot de mer?) along with plenty other live goodies like whelks, geoduck clams and occasionally shrimp. I don't know of any places on the island but i'm sure there are some, maybe la mer?.

La Mer had fresh whelks yesterday (about a dozen on display) but I didn't see any land snails.

Guess raising the beasts is out of the question?
