We were in sevilla 2 weeks ago.

Had tapas at Becerrita, which was very nice.

We also had dinner at El Espigon, which was fantastic. It is a little oout of the center, classic place, great seafood.

I've been to Seville earlier this month, and would like to report that we had a very nice (two in fact) lunch at Az Zait. This is a Bibi in the Michelin 2009. It feels like a one star with a lesser price (not cheap, but good price for what it is).

It is modern style cuisine with some creativity and innovation but it never jumps overboard. The chef takes care of you personally and is attentive without being intrusive. Good service. The fact that we came back is telling. Worth to go.

It is near the Museo de Bellas Artes. Plaza San Lorenzo 1.

Just trying to eat some good food and learn in the process with all the well versed foodies here. Please don't hold me too accountable for my so personal opinions! :)

I was in Seville last week and went on a tapeo with the food blogger and Seville tapas expert Shawn Hennessey (http://azahar-sevilla.com/). That, plus my other eating experiences there can be found here http://foodbarcelona.wordpress.com/2010/11/28/seville/

It's a gorgeous city and second only to San Sebastian for tapas crawls. Highly recommended.
