Does anyone have the name of a good restaurant on Emerald Isle, North Carolina. I am going with a few friends for a bachelorette party this weekend.

I'd like to ask this question again, for my own benefit. Especially interested in the best places to get seafood, traditional Southern cooking and possibly barbecue. Anyone got a suggestion?

We're willing to drive off the island to Morehead City, Beaufort, Cedar Point...you understand.

Skip Emerald Isle - its a culinary wasteland from what I can tell - head to Morehead City or Beaufort.

Regarding the more local stuff, I don't think you can get good BBQ in the NC coast so I wouldn't even try. However, grab a shrimpburger at the Big Oak in Salter Path.
