I do quesdillas the same way - with shredded (by me, not preshredded) - no oil.

How I wish that I had tomatoes like that to "use up!"

I have the same one and can attest to the metal cover getting hot. Mine still has traces of a bread bag left to close... -
Me too - also for grilled zucchini and peppers in the winter.

My Dad would only eat toast that other people would either be scraping or scrapping - literally black. He claimed it made your teeth whiter!🙄

I have seen that recipe so often but have a hard time imagining the end result.

From a fellow titanium hip owner - I was amazed at how quickly I was quite mobile. Nor far or fast at first but I was walking without mechanical aid of any kind after about my 5th day at home. I wish the same for you.

My thoughts exactly. I did google "stuffed gnocchi" and there are multiple recipes but none from recognized sites. I suppose I should just bide my time until it becomes the newest latest and greatest. I no longer have the energy nor the inclination to make multiple versions of the same thing until I get it right!

We call that a brain cold! I love the Ajika Georgian spice mix! Hope you feel better soon!

That sounds delicious. Do you have a recipe for the espresso custard to share?

Perhaps I should get over my aversion to liver - I just always remember my Mom making liver and onions for her and my Dad - we kids got hot dogs on those nights! My Dad liked any kind of meat cooked to death - I thought I hated steak until I had one in a restaurant! I do love paté so maybe time to put on my big girl panties and try chicken livers!

Not an any kind of liver fan but those balsamic glazed beets and greens look fabulous!

I cam across this recipe today: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/spinach-and-artichoke-stuffed-gnocchi-17898648 I make (or buy) gnocchi fairly regularly, we love it with Puttanesca sauce. I've made ricotta gnudi and a sweet potato version but never added anything to the gnocchi itself. I feel like it would have good potential for falling apart, at least in my hands, but the idea intrigues me.

I don't have an electric griddle at home, but we do have one for camping. I can do eggs and bacon and hash browns for a few people, outside with minimal mess. I am on my second electric frying pan in 35 years. My mom always had one so it was a no brainer for me. I can do 6 pancakes at a time and when we were doing renovations and living in the basement with limited cooking facilities, I made breakfasts and spaghetti sauce and numerous other dishes.

We love RB&R around here. Monday, Tuesday, any day is fine. Yours look perfect. We prefer them with brown rice too.

Well, my husband is in Mexico and I am not. When I was meal planning for this week, I totally forgot about Valentine's Day. I had planned on making pulled pork quesadillas for my nephew and I - maybe I will make them heart shaped!

The pretzel coated chicken sounds great - just breaded chicken, using crushed up pretzels?

We like that green bean salad, make it for almost every family gathering.

Painkiller cocktail sounds good though I would have to sub vodka for the rum due to an incident at a rugby tournament dance many decades ago. I still cannot abide the smell, much less the taste of rum. We're talking about 45 years ago. Some things just stay with you...🤢

My daughter that is hosting a few friends is doing it purely out of love for her fiancé. They joke that he watches the game and she watches the commericials.

Little works of art - just gorgeous! -
I'm not interested in football, never have been but one of my daughters is hosting a few people and the other daughter is going to a gathering so I've offered to make Buffalo Chicken Dip and send a half dozen Bierocks that I froze earlier this week to each. I will have some of each for myself while quietly watching something other than football.

i agree. When it's cold outside, I love to have something hot, although not sweet

Wow - that's quite a competition for high school! As mentioned, this is a friendly place with a plethora of information from all over the world. I'm Canadian too, but live on the west coast. Welcome!

ISO Glass Measuring Cup With Numbers That Don't Wear Off
MaryIsobel replied to a topic in Kitchen Consumer
It's funny, I have seen people in search of the same thing but my pyrex measuring cups are at least 35 years old and one from my mom is even older but I can still read the red measurements on all of them. I put them in the dishwasher regularly (and we have hard well water.) I wonder if there were different batches made?
