  1. Nope. But whoever he is he's gettin' jiggy with the Grey Kangaroo. Edit: Just realized that was a hyperlink above. Heard the name but I'm sheltered.
  2. Is that dude filtering booze that his liver already filtered? A new twist on "double-filtration."
  3. Stop telling me such things after we've knocked off a couple of finely filtered fifths. Yeah, I'm not hungover the next day but I can't remember shit.
  4. Note the copious use of qualifiers on the website. (*May* reduce hangovers, etc.) Sam's peddling snakeoil.
  5. Note how Sam *always* provides a disclaimer when mentioning products. And he *didn't* on this one.
  6. Won't do waffle cuts but I've been very happy with this one. $35 US.
  7. Here's what I was thinking of. Anyone have any experience with one of these or similar?
  8. Aren't there decent standalones that don't require 220? (It's been awhile since I researched them, but I do remember they were much easier to obtain in Canada then in the US.)

  16. tommy, You've the beginning of a very fine script here. Can I take care of the soundtrack?
  17. But what are you going to drink with it? Hint: Tavel.
  18. I know the title is a play off one of Mary Frances' book titles. But everytime I see this thread pop to the top of the list, I think it says, "TDG: OTOH: How to Cook a Wife" and I'm horrified until I realize what it really says.
  19. That's clarified. Now to find them.
  20. I'm a tad weird. So, you're looking for a short thick stem that has a ball between the stem & where the drink is held?
  21. cdh, Are you thinking of what I'd refer to as a "cocktail glass" as opposed to a "martini glass"? I think my cocktail glasses hold 5 oz & have shorter & wider stems than my 8 oz martini glasses.
  22. I'm wondering the exact same thing!
  23. Want me to take a picture of one of mine & upload it? cdh, you can tell me if I'm thinking of what you're thinking.
