So many great meals, we needed another thread Great job everyone Some more smoked cheese This time around, 2yr old white cheddar,Austalian 4yr old cheddar,gouda, garlic havarti, old cheddar, and 2 blocks of Monterey jack On with some cherry and apple wood Foodsavered and stored in the fridge for 3 weeks or more, then ready Shane

  7. Great meals everyone Made a batch of chili for this week Ground beef, home ground pork and porchetta Meat browned off with some cherry wood Got happy here,for a few hours 4 scotch bonnets, gave this a great kick Shane
  8. We have been calling them "Home rollies" here They are superb with a salad, the bread gets a great crunchy texture. Love the pizza dough idea FeChef Shane

  15. Working on some Toronto Eggfest ideas. One might be a maple bread, toasted with peameal bacon and maple sauce Tasty, maybe a little more maple syrup Dinner was poor man SV tenderloin and sweet tater pancakes w/t curry Served with a lemon yogurt, excellent Shane

  17. Hi Kerry We ate at Bistro Six-One. It is right on Queen St. Very nice meal, great service(they took the oven pic for me) and for 2 pies, duck poutine, 4 beers =$65 Shane
  18. Enjoyed a nice weekend at the Niagara on the Lake Icewine Festival Dinner was Duck confit Poutine And I had my first wood oven pizza The oven The pie, simple and very tasty Odered a meat lovers pie to go Shane
  19. Great looking meals everyone Did a pulled pork dinner for the guys at work. Used a turbo method for these Started with about 24lbs of pork and the total time was approx. 6.5 hrs The picnics were put on at 350/375 with some cherry and pear wood They were taken to 160 then foiled, taken off at 195 Other than the lack off bark, which I lose because I have to cooler the meat for 5hrs before we eat, this was very good. Tender, really moist and great flavour. Shane
