We were just at a family event that was pot luck(all fantastic cooks) Came across an olive salad(green,black,garlic,feta) that I had never seen before....AMAZING!!!! And all the desserts were outstanding So I am all for pot luck dinners Shane

Thanks Rotuts Yes, these were done on the Egg. 400 indirect, till bacon cooked to your liking Goes great with a 50/50 mix of mayo and sour cream for dipping Shane

Great meals everyone Some Football food ABT's Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese,cheddar,green onion,seasoning. Topped with a sausage cap and wrapped in bacon Garlic tortilla stack Filled with cream cheese,garlic,more garlic and some roasted garlic Shane

This was inspired by SobaAddict's Greek lemon potatoes Started out with some wings with some similar marinate as the potatoes Potatoes got a nice crisp on the Egg Lamb shoulder chops with Cluck and Squeal Beef rub..Try this With some Tomato/cucumber salad and grilled pita Love this thread, some amazingly talented people here. Look forward to the next 1000 pages Shane

Thanks Shelby Yes, this was a tomato sauce base. 1 small can of paste with 1 small can of pizza sauce. But ,we did try some sweet and spicy mustard on a few slices. It really worked well Shane

Rotuts- Yes, that was my wife's plate, all the fatty pieces went on the cooks plate Patrickamory-Just started using the jaccard, but I really like the way it worked everything in the meat. Great meals everyone, always get hungry looking at this thread Pork loin with Scotch bonnet sauce and Bone Dust, worked in with a jaccard Some sides and grilled pineapple for dessert Ashen's BBQ sauce to top it off(Thanks Dave) Nice heat level in the pork and great flavour from the BBQ sauce Shane

Very true, if you overshoot your target temp for a low and slow , with the Egg. You will have a hell of a time, getting it anywhere near, where you wanted it. Grab some beer and stand right there,DO NOT LEAVE, 30/50* before your target temp, you start shutting down vents My best, was setting everything up and getting distracted(beer) and coming back to a 1000 degree Egg Made some great burgers that night instead Shane

Was nice to find these beef ribs with some meat still left on them They tend to over trim them around here After about 6 hrs. With some sides Going back to get some more Shane
