  14. As my husband would say, never trust a food writer to make a meal . So last night I was cooking dinner and then got distracted by a article I was working on. Well after the smoke alarm went off and my four year old cried out of sheer terror.. the burnt mess was discarded and off we went to Friendly's Icecream

  18. I agree with you, frankly I'd take any photographer who can use lighting to a great advantage and take a fine exposure. The food stylist is another matter. I agree -- I am looking for a someone with experience in Indian food not necessarily an Indian photographer.

  21. I would like to try this as well. The few times I have tasted duck it has been dry.. What nobody missed me and I was gone for four days.. I guess I may have moderated myself out of a job

  23. Thanks all for the nice words and encouragement. I had a lot of fun writing the piece and got to try many different placed. DC metro had close to 62 Indian restaurants.. that I counted anyway.. I am sure there are more. Its heartwarming to see the food coming of age and the service not being far behind. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and more importantly enjoy eating!!! Happy eating
