Dinner out with my husband at Abe's Cajun Market & Cafe in Houston tonight. So much more than I thought I had ordered! The fries, cornbread and hush puppies were not listed on the menu. Plus, not pictured, a side salad and a cup of crawfish etouffee. Leftovers in the fridge.

My no name cast iron skillet has the same dimensions and weighs 8 oz. less than the field skillet. I found mine several years ago in an antique/resale shop for $25. So no, I will not be getting one.

Sunday Lunch at Tookie's Hamburgers & More in Seabrook with my husband. We shared an order of Mama Ethel's Onion Rings I had the Chicken Strips, Country Style with Gravy and my husband had the Squealer - an 8 oz. Beef Patty blended with Bacon.

I am not a fan of jelly, but my other half is and he prefers his pb&j open face with Jif Creamy Peanut Butter on regular white bread topped with lots of Welch's Concord Grape Jelly. He said he could make one right now, for me to take a photo, but I said that was not necessary.
