If I were making stock, I would remove the tired vegetables at the end, but when making beans, I would leave the sliced vegetables in with the beans.

Thursday’s Lunch at Nate’s West End, Jamaica Beach, on Galveston Island with my Birding Buddy - we split the sandwiches between us. The Reuben was good, but we both agreed the Shrimp Po Boy was the winner!

Our first time back to Michiru, in Webster, since September of last year. Fried Calamari and Pan-fried Pork Gyoza, Hot and Sour Soup, Beef Szechuan Style, and Vegetable Tempura.

I have no idea, but I have burned the bottom of a regular cooking pot on the stovetop and have not had it happen when using the Instant Pot.

When doing a long, slow cook on my electric cooktop, I reduce the heat to a slow simmer after it has come to a boil. I also check and stir quite often. Edited to add: Since getting my Instant Pot, I have not used the stovetop method very often.
