  4. hello. my friends want to have a biggish get together and they want me to help with the cooking. since i cant do everything alone, i was thinking of making some bitesize pieces that i can show them how to do it and i can have a production line of people making them so, what are your ideas?

  11. of course i would prefer eating with a friend, but most of my friends would rather eat a take away than a proper meal, and the ones that would come with me, are broke atm.

  14. i didnt like sketch that much when i went last year too ambitious but didnt deliver the service was amazing though
  15. since i dont want to go to maze again like last year, i am looking for a nice lunch for 3 people around 50 pounds per person including service but without wine. the bigger the diversity in the dishes (like i would rather have lots of small plates than 3 large) pudding is not required but would be welcome. i was thinking of claridges or le gavroche. anything else you would like to suggest?i would like to go this thursday if its possible
  16. i am really torn with the main course to be honest. i think beef wellington is an amazing dish, but if i wanted to have something that would remind me of home, it would be either dannys or nigels dish. i think both of them represent home british cooking more than beef wellington.

  18. mixed feelings about this one, i liked some of the elements from both menus, both starters werent nice, fish and main looked both nice, and the dessert ice cream was better (maybe thats why tristan won?) big blow for the ramsay chefs on this year, i liked seeing jason back there, he was a nice boss when i was in maze.

  21. it looked like an apple corer/slicer (the thing you push on top of the apple and cuts it in wedges and cores it at the same time)but scaled down to fit a green onion this is the thing on the show : this is the other one i found people talking about and it will be my runner up i guess :
  22. i was watching top chef (season 4) and a guy was making strips from green onions with a tool that had a metallic rod for the onion to go through. any places (and europe friendly) online that sell that? thanks a lot

  24. i went to selfridges just before new years to do some shopping and wanted to get some trotter gear again but it wasnt available. anyone knows where i can get it now?
