Best onions I've ever grown this year. Don't know why except possibly the weather. Starting to pick a few each day. I clean them and store them in the fridge--they last a long time that way.

Ribs, stuffed peppers and the first new potatoes from the garden --I love creamed peas and potatoes Peach strawberry galette for dessert Hot wings, Mac and cheese, broccoli salad, more peppers Ham and cheese paninis Leftover Mac and cheese only baked with topping this time Chicken fried venison Last night was spaghetti night

My cats walked across my keyboard and somehow magnified it 3X. It looks even worse now.

Ronnie and I have done all kinds of methods--he's totally happy with silicone egg cups. I'm always on the search for the next best thing.

True. A lot of people have more than one--I have had all three going at once several times. Mr. Cohen needs to visit with me.

Dammit Linda. They will be here Tuesday.

Good to know. Thanks. And, such a timely post. I bought these the other day at Dillon's You all know how picky I am about tomatoes and these are pretty good for store bought.

That's sad. I, too, hope the original IP people made a ton of money. I have three and use at least one of them several times a week.

@Kim Shook Gorgeous fried chicken! It is really convenient to do it that way. @RaamoThose crepes look perfect. I haven't had those in forever. @weinooOh the oysters. AND the percebes. I'll never probably get to try those so I'll live vicariously through you. @kaybThe perfect summer meal. That tomato looks like a delicious "real" one. Leftover brisket with baked beans, cheesy potatoes and stuffed peppers Pork enchiladas Ham, asparagus and cheese wrapped in puff pastry with an egg and fried potatoes Fruit salad for dessert Ham and turkey panini Spicy chicken over penne and salad

I'm jealous of anyone at any price that can get anything delivered. I can only do things like Goldbelly. Never can I order in here....and there are sure days that I would take even a really crappy pizza.

Welp. It's become clear that along with living with Mr. and Mrs. @Duvel, I'll also be going on all business trips. That food looks amazing. The usual pizza and salad Fruit salad for dessert Ronnie smoked a chicken so that with rotini and cheese and asparagus He also smoked a brisket--150 F for about 4 hours and then I SV'd it for 24 hours at 155F. SO good and tender. Brisket with asparagus, stuffed jalapeños and cheesy potatoes Ronnie caught some more crappie and walleye. Nice flakey fish. Brisket sandwiches Fried chicken, taters and mustard greens from the garden. Last night chicken and asparagus stir fry with store bought frozen egg rolls--the rolls weren't too bad. I need to make some more to have in the freezer.

This would be the best. thing. ever. I would NEVER get out of bed. I'd need two, though.....one for white wine.....maybe three....one for riesling...... NO four...another for ice wine during summer.

Our windows must open at the same time today--3:00. I'm supposed to go to a family thing at 2 sigh. You can bet that I will be shopping at the stroke of 3 somewhere in a corner lol.

I’ve already roasted peeled and am going to vac pack them in a bit then freeze. They always have such nice meaty ones so I buy a lot —they freeze well.

Been a while since I took time to take pictures. Misfits is still treating me pretty well. The last 3 weeks they have offered mango oranges--I really wanted to try them, but for 3 weeks now they are missing from the box. I got credits back each time but it's kind of weird that it keeps happening. I had also ordered 2 cases of sparkling water that weren't there. Also got credit for those. It's so easy to get problems resolved that it doesn't bother me too much when mistakes happen. Or maybe I'm just easy to please lol. I ordered a bit more than usual for the holiday weekend so we'd have some fruit to make a salad out of if we wished I'm addicted to those caramels and chocolates. This cost was a little over $150.

@gfwebMother's Day is what I always aimed for, too, when planting tomatoes. Sigh. Ronnie never listens to me. Maybe he will next year. He works so hard and does such a good job growing plants from seed in the greenhouse. They looked beautiful. Then they got really big and absolutely had to be planted--much too early.......I'm a big believer in the temp. of the dirt being at least 60F....it wasn't. I don't know if that's the reason or a combo of a lot of reasons but half the plants have died. The others look awful. I'm hoping they will snap out of it. We tried to buy some from the nursery a couple of days ago, but they weren't available any more. So, we will see. Last summer I wasn't really up to doing much health-wise. This summer I'm feeling better so there better be tomatoes to can! However, I've never had such beautiful onions. It's hard to tell but some of those greens are over 3' tall!

@DejahBoy do I want those chicken feet. I haven't been to the market to get some of those for such a long time. I've not been good at meal planning lately. I look up and it's five already with no idea what to make. So I pour a glass of wine and drink until something comes to me lol. Breakfast--frozen biscuits, stuffed jalapeños, venison sausage, eggs, and gravy. Fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans Venison taco salads Really good turkey paninis--I had leftover jalapeño stuffing which is just cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions and smoked paprika mixed together. Threw that on the sandwich on a whim. My cleaning angel friend is having a really hard time with her Lyme's disease and hasn't been able to clean since early January. We are keeping in touch, though, and the other day she felt well enough to stop over for a visit! I gave her a lot of fish that Ronnie had just caught and she gave us fresh picked strawberries from her patch! SO sweet and good. And so very nice of her. I froze 3 bags And had the rest over a little white cake that I made with some sweetened whipped cream. Last night was quesadillas to use up some left over steak.
