Ted Fairhead

Born in London, England before WWII. Various "evacuations" to the countryside during "Blitz" but kept returning to London. Lost our home in the "Docks", in Bermondsey to a bomb. Moved to Old Kent Rd. Survived the V-1 and V-2 attacks. After tech school joined Royal Navy as Radio and Radar Tech for 7-3/4 yrs. Then in civil aviation before coming to U.S. in 1965. Now retired in N.C. having lived in NY, VA, MD, Chicago, LA, GA, FL, WA
