  1. Not the US - but Chocolat-Chocolat has some.
  2. The fine one does a reasonable job on raspberry seeds.
  3. Here is what I am up to with @patris today.
  4. I have (or had) a food mill for the cuisinart food processor and another for the Kitchen aid that attaches to the hub. I also have a couple of champion juicers that I believe can be set up to accomplish the same. And that being said - I usually use my Rosle food mill with the fine blade for almost everything I want to mill.
  5. Yup - seeing it everywhere again - labeled as to where it is from.
  6. Dinner tonight at Prescott’s Provisions. Dark Horse - scotch, amontillado sherry and cardamaro. Grilled pork shoulder and belly with lentils and apple balls Beets with grapefruit Cambazola pistachio and yogurt Romaine with blue cheese, red onions and skinned tomatoes
  7. Rincon Paisa - Columbian store on Upper Wellington in Hamilton. Short drive from where I work on Friday mornings so a place I will often stop and get chicharron at lunch time. The lady behind the counter who serves them likes them as much as I do and is often found eating the crunchy skin bits when they fall out of the heated cabinet.
  8. Chef's Warehouse took over Qzina - they have locations on the east coast.
  9. Yup - Mexican wedding cake in my world
  10. Arrived this am - no snow in Burlington! So of course I’m in sandals. But socks - my concession to cold. Should have known that Tonawanda would have snow. Nice Keto brekkie of cheese, olives and veggies.
  11. It would interest me - but behind the scenes has always held me in thrall.
  12. The white rhino certainly isn't as brilliant green - it's more muted for sure.
  13. I have had one tasty matcha in my life - got it from Metropolitan Tea - it's called White Rhino and it's Kenyan apparently. Unfortunately when I was making the matcha truffles for the Dubovic course it was nowhere to be found in the house (I've since rediscovered it). I was too cheap to buy matcha for that course so I ground up some tasty Taiwanese tea to a fine powder. Didn't have the startlingly green color unfortunately.
  14. If you can get custom sheets for $3 - regardless of the cost of the acetate - I would suggest you buy them. Expecting someone to print sheets for you for 50 cents each so you can save a few pennies on the acetate (if indeed you can) seems counterproductive to me.
  15. It is a steady noise - but I do enjoy the quiet when it stops! I use the remote to turn it on and off when I'm working.
  16. That's what I do with my Fuji - but it's loud even in the other room.
  17. Here. There are threads on eG about printers for this - do a search to find it. Most people are not having a lot of success with them.
  18. There are some here - they give a velvet effect on the surface. I much prefer the effect of spraying the mold first. I've done the stencil thing - but on the boxes not on the chocolate. You apply ink to the box, sprinkle the embossing powder on it - then hit with a heat gun to get the embossing powder to meld together. These products look interesting.
  19. If it was the one by @tikidoc - not sure if here or Facebook. She linked to a spot where they used a plastic garden shed to make one. I have the garden shed, the fan - now I just need the round tuit. Here is is
  20. Mix harder while cooking.
  21. I don’t recall - you’ll need to do your own tests.
  22. Damn
  23. Had the butcher at the Asian market in Hamilton cut me a couple of nice pork chops on Friday. Sous ve'd them and browned one of them yesterday for my dinner. That's peach and red pepper jam to go with.
