Me too. OMG, those tomatoes look so good. We just bought tomato plants but won't be putting them in the ground for another couple of weeks. We had rhubarb pie for dinner last night so I cooked the pork chops for breakfast.

I look forward every year to the first rhubarb pie of the season. We had a late lunch and just pie for dinner.

Last night's dinner. Lamb Shanks, Italian style served over polenta with zucchini. Browned on the stove but finished in the Breville PC for 45 minutes. A quick way to make a work night dinner.

I love souvlaki. Your's looks so good. Love how you did the vegetables on their own skewers.

Decided I wanted to bake pizza for dinner yesterday. So early in the morning I started a batch of dough, 1000g batch at 76% hydration but with only 2g of yeast. Left it on the counter for about 8 hours. It was ready to use when I got home from work. Matt had an artichoke and pesto pizza. Used the last of the pesto that he made from last years basil. Moe and I shared a mushroom and sausage pizza. Enough dough left for two baguettes.

Didn't cook dinner last night so made it this morning. Moe had it for breakfast and I'm working today so taking it for lunch. Spicy Green beans with pork in a black bean sauce. Over rice. I had one of these apple squares with my morning coffee. Apple Cobbler Shortbread Squares. Baked yesterday morning.

I still had some ham left so I fried some and made Ham, Cheddar and Chive Biscuits. And Moe had scrambled egg and biscuits for breakfast.

I had half of the rare l top sirloin roast left over from last night, so I put it in the Breville PC this morning and turned it into a pot roast. Just big enough for two sandwiches. Moe had his on the Ciabatta bun, and I'm going to take mine for lunch. I think mine will be on a baguette.

@Margaret Pilgrim, my mom was not a good cook. And I'm being kind. BUT, she made really good fudge. (and Bread and Butter Pudding) . So I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have a problem.
-
@Margaret Pilgrim, this was "evening" fudge and made especially because we weren't having dinner. 😊

Nice crumb shot. Look at that shine. Hot Cross Buns ready for the oven. Brushed while still hot with a brown butter and orange glaze.

@Captain, I like the way you think. Not a fan of raisins so I made Cranberry and Chocolate hot cross buns. Dough was made yesterday and left in the fridge. I got up at 2:00 AM to take the dough out of the fridge so that it had time to warm up and rise and I could bake them for breakfast.

@liamsaunt, Oh My, that beef looks perfect. Making my mouth water. I'm making our "Easter" dinner today. Last night's dinner was chicken paillards, grilled, on a bed of vegetables, grilled eggplant, zucchini, red peppers and mushrooms, with a pesto mayonnaise.

I had a craving for smoked salmon and bagels. So yesterday morning I made the bagels. Appetizer size. We had them for dinner topped with cream cheese and smoked salmon.

@Duvel I would be happy with a slice of both. Crust is just the way I like it. The little char parts are my favourite.

Last night's dinner. Smash burgers cooked on cast iron on the grill. With homemade twice fried fries.
