  1. Please try to go to Lotus of Siam, 953 E. Sahara Ave. #702-735-3033. I have spent some serious eating time in that city, what are you looking for?
  2. Scott opened the "Washington House" restaurant a few years back. I haven't been in the area to go there, but he's a very nice fellow, cute also. I would be willing to bet that he's trying his all to do me proud. The address is 245 W. Main St. Margut Annville, Pa. 17003 #717-867-2347
  3. Each and everyone of those are my favorites. How about North on Third? The bar can mix and the kitchen knows their stuff, please don't leave them out.
  4. Holly had his favorite sent to me, I ate, my family ate, and they became a special last week. That man does know his dogs!
  5. I've been drinking Rob Roy's for 30 years, Dewers.
  6. Please just dress simple and BLACK. The service and food will out sparkle you, no jeans, ever. Jeans are worn only by the 20 year olds with great asses, unlike this country, and never there, or after 9pm.

    deja vu

Didn't Deja Vu move to across the cornor from 4th st. deli? I heard that Lickly Split's location is going to be restored. South St. could really use that.
  15. Sweetbreads?, after tomorrow we will all be your puppys, just feed us.
  16. Anything "on the side", is for some person that does not trust the kitchen. Take a good look at the ones that do it, don't they all look the same?
  17. I just called for mine, Holly's, Cloe's, and D'Jango's-that's SIX. This should be totally cool, we are all going not to care, just feed us.
  18. Is it every Thrusday? I might be up for the early show.
  19. There is a roadside PIE place on the highway outside of Jackson when you are coming from Utah. It's not far from the cross intersection where you'll make a right. (That's the windy mountain road that drops you in Jackson). It's full of lonely ranch hands, mugs of coffee and a long list of homemade pies. The name might be Betty's.

    Marseille

Have anyone been over to Sete? I'll have to pull my notes and look at the fabulous pictures before I name names, but that sea town has it all.
  21. The math of feeding the staff, it's tax deductable!
  22. Puerto Rico, every Sunday the mountains have fests , all have the roasted pig.
  23. My son-in-law and daughter both work for the same corp. in Charlotte N.C. They moved there from L.V. where she was with Spago and he was with Postrio. I went into her restaurant to pick her up, Mimosa Grill, and was really impressed with their lunch menu. I thought it was the most exciting that I've ever seen. I asked Susan if the kitchen could really cook this and what she liked. She isn't allowed to taste and if she wants to buy, at 1/2 price after work, not all the selections are available to the staff! Her husband Scott has in the last 6 weeks been promoted to the top chef position at their high in restaurant, Upper Stream. He told me that he is going to try to have tasting with the staff. He comes home after work and Susan has a plate waiting for him from the dinner that she cooks every night. I'm totally blown away about this, if my staff doesn't eat two meals everyday I want to know why. They taste as I create, I explain whatever knowledge that I know about the dish. I've even send food home with them, any leftovers, they all have roommates or lovers. Including them in with the, THE FOOD, makes them really care about the product, and me. I wish staff would , right before shift, throw the crap they get out, and "extort a new deal for a new meal".
  24. I didn't know that job was posted here, I was asked in person and recommended a friend Stacy. She got the bid and I heard everyone was pleased. She's a local and is doing private parties on her own, she also is cooking for a restaurant that she prefers that they don't know about the jobs she gets on her own. I'll be pleased to pass her # on, just ask.
  25. Pig, sounds like another great idea. May 3rd..hope there is room for me. I'll trust you on the sweetbreads, one of my all time favorites, I just might have them for breakfast this weekend.
