You know, you could organize a dinner at someone's home, hire a chef, and invite here - you'd get a dozen relative strangers to show up and split the costs. What's the difference? Just need to find someone with a nice kitchen and a deck or pretty garden...

I went to the same dinner as the Times reviewer went to, and I thought the food was as excellent as the article claimed. Since we reserved late, Joe and I ended up at a table by ourselves.. next time I'll definitely ask for a seat at the communal table.
