I can not believe with a 7yr old who LOVES Harry Potter, and a sister who frequents a Jelly Belly factory to buy in bulk, I had never heard of these until today. I saw them near the bike pumps and helmets at WalMart. Cute little purple sacks. I new my son would be thrilled.

So, being me, I could not contain myself until he came home from school... and opened it up on my own. ((I must have a thing for trying the oddest of things.)

However, I did only try 2... whilst telling my husband I had to open it, so it would be easier for my son. I tried soap, and vomit. Vomit was first (why not go with the best huh??) I bit it in half, chewed a moment, and gagged, then spit it in the trash. Being that vomit shouldn't really have the same taste from day to day, this tasted like dirt to me. Soap... very close on, with a nice flowery cleaning taste.

After my son got home, we tried together booger (we both spit it out), black pepper, not bad. Dirt got spit out, along with earwax (a rather nasty one), and sardine. Grass wasn't bad, and I also agree not strong enough. Sadly, I didn't get to try bacon  or spaghetti... both which I probably would have enjoyed.

We did not have rotten egg or earthworm either...

I should order these for kids on Halloween!
