We enjoyed this restaurant. It was awkward to get to its second floor location and it was not well marked from the street, but we enjoyed the food and the service. There's a lot of Italian restaurants on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. It appears that this one is out. I'll miss it. Any other fans out there?

Dee mentioned the other day that the restaurant looked dark at a time when it should have been bright. I noticed the same darkness tonight.

If I have a chance tomorrow, I'll walk over and see if there's a sign on the door. (Of course, I could just call...)

Nice place, good food, but a very tough location. Parking in Caldwell can be difficult, too.

Apparently it's easier still to dictate the conversation and in effect, kill the conversation.

I had heard a rumor that he was going to move downstairs.

Let us know what you find out.

Stopped by tonight.

Sign in the downstairs window says they are OPEN. There's another sign which says Casa Filippo will be offering a special St Patrick's meal.
